Candle Storage
Store candles in a cool, well-ventilated, and dry place. Excessive heat or direct sunlight can cause the surface of the candle to melt, affecting its scent throw and resulting in insufficient fragrance when burned.
Lighting the Candle
Before lighting the candle, trim the wick to 5-8 mm.
For the first burn, allow the candle to burn for 2-3 hours.
Candles have a "burn memory." If the wick does not heat evenly or the surface does not fully melt during the first burn, subsequent burns will only melt the wax around the wick.
Extinguishing the Candle
Never blow out the candle with your mouth! This can damage the candle and produce black smoke, turning the pleasant fragrance into a smoky odor.
Use a wick dipper to extinguish the candle, or gently dip the wick into the wax to stop the flame.
Stop burning the candle once the wax height is less than 1 cm.
Candle Safety
-
Never leave a candle unattended.
-
Keep candles away from anything that could catch fire.
-
Place burning candles out of reach of children and pets.
